Split Screen: ADAA Art Show 2022

With a look to the future, the ADAA commissioned the first ever Sustainability Roadmap for this year’s The Art Show, broadly re-examining the practices of the show to arrive at initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint and incorporate best practices, all with the aim of contributing to a greener planet.

Bade Stageberg Cox (BSC) designed the show with these ambitions in mind, working with the ADAA leadership team and McCall Associates on strategies for signage printing and installations designed for multi-year use. Designing the show for the third time, BSC’s installation within the historic Park Avenue Armory incorporates custom design elements from previous years, reimagined within the context of this year’s show. Partnering with Zumtobel Lighting, floral designer Alexandra Abuza and the iconic design brand Moooi, The Art Show 2022 references the grandeur of its setting through the incorporation of light, color and pattern to set the stage for The Art Show’s incisively curated exhibitions.
