Timothy Bade
After receiving his Master of Architecture degree from Columbia
University, Tim worked at Richard Gluckman Architects on the Andy
Warhol Foundation and a gut building renovation for the Dia Art
Foundation (unbuilt). He then joined Steven Holl Architects in 1994,
and was named Partner in 2006. While at SHA, Tim was responsible
for a number of internationally acclaimed buildings, such as the
Chapel of St. Ignatius at Seattle University; Simmons Hall Undergraduate
Residence at MIT; NYU School of Philosophy; and Higgins Hall at
Pratt Institute School of Architecture. Tim has taught in the graduate
architecture program at Parsons The New School for Design. Jane
Stageberg
In addition to a Masters Degree in Architecture from Harvard University
Graduate School of Design, Jane holds a Masters Degree in Music
from Boston University. Following graduation, she worked in the
firms of Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, and Richard Gluckman
Architects, where she led projects such as the Robert Ryman Studio
and Residence, and the Watermill Center for the Byrd Hoffman Water
Mill Foundation and director Robert Wilson. Jane established her
independent practice in 1998. She has taught in the graduate architecture
program at Parsons The New School for Design, and currently serves
as an advisor on public school outreach to the board of Bargemusic.
Martin Cox
Martin received his professional degree in Architecture from University
College Dublin, Ireland. He worked in Germany and Ireland before
joining Steven Holl Architects, where he was a Senior Associate
from 1996 until 2006. At SHA, he led the development of a large
number of international design, research and building projects
including Bellevue Art Museum and the University of Iowa School
of Art and Art History. In 2004 he served with Steven Holl as
Martell Distinguished Visiting Critic at University of Buffalo.
He currently teaches graduate design studio at Yale University
School of Architecture. Martin serves on the Board of Directors
of Artists Space. |
